An ancient shamanic healing technique. The basic concept is that some illnesses are caused by a missing part of the soul. The shaman would enter an altered state of consciousness and travel to the patient’s past or to an alternate reality or “world,” find the missing part and ask it to return to its proper place, resulting in healing.
